Talawa Theatre Company
Talawa’s STUDIO is centrally and conveniently located off City Road. With a playing area of 90m, the Studio comes equipped with a harlequin floor, masking flats, two dance bars and private access. It also offers air conditioning and built-in kitchen and toilet facilities. Ideal for rehearsals, small conferences, workshops etc., the Studio also provides WiFi access.
Past/Current Clients include: Soho Theatre, Theatre Centre, Masterclass Haymarket, Tiata Fahodzi, Sherman Cymru. We also take bookings from individuals wishing to host classes.
Measurements The room is 13m x 7m at its widest point and 5.5m at the narrower street end. The total playing area is 90 square metres

Hot Spot Concessions
Talawa is opening up its Studio to support young, emerging and experimental artists. Up to two days a week will be made available to actors, directors and theatre makers of all kinds at negligible prices through Talawa’s Hot Spots. It’s Talawa’s way of supporting emerging practitioners and work. Through our Noticeboard, we will provide notice of available Hot Spot days within the upcoming week. P ackage
Wi-Fi internet access is available. Private kitchenette including fridge, microwave and toaster, tea and coffee provided for short hires. Talawa Theatre Company also provide a water cooler with one bottle of water, and are happy to provide printing and photocopying facilties, although these services and any additional bottles fo water will incur further charges. Limited Parking available on request. Hire is up to a maximum of five days a week but can be extended to six.
