RADA
The most famous and prestigious centre for drama training in the English speaking world, the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art is one of London’s artistic landmarks. Based in a modern, state-of-the-art facility in the West End only minutes from Oxford Street and Tottenham Court Road, RADA benefits from a prime location.

Theatres
Jerwood Vanbrugh Theatre
The Jerwood Vanbrugh Theatre is RADA’s largest performance space and is a highly adaptable proscenium style space, which can accommodate a capacity of up to 183. The theatre is incredibly versatile and as well as being used in a traditional end-on configuration, it can be used in-the-round, in thrust, or as a completely flat floor space for exhibitions and dining.
The theatre also boasts The Screen @ RADA, the Academy’s high-tech and fully retractable digital cinema screen. The Screen @ RADA provides the ideal venue for private screening events in vibrant and comfortable surroundings.
GBS Theatre
The GBS Theatre is a black box studio which can accommodate a capacity of up to 100 and is suited to being used in a wide variety of configurations.
John Gielgud Theatre
The John Gielgud Theatre is RADA’s smallest performance space. It is a black box theatre capable of accommodating up to 70, and can be used in a wide variety of seating configurations.
The Club Theatre
Located at RADA Studios, 16 Chenies Street. The Club Theatre is an intimate space which can hold up to 50.
The Studio Theatre
Also located in the RADA Studios building, 16 Chenies Street. The Studio Theatre is our largest space and can hold up to 200 people.
Rehearsal rooms and other spaces
We also have fifteen multi-purpose rehearsal rooms, one mirrored dance space, two dedicated meeting and conference rooms, a sound studio, and a bar and cabaret space.
Prices for rehearsal spaces range from £25 to £45 per hour. Special day and week rates also apply, including discounts for registered charities
